Newly ordained deacon Scott Broussard preached for the first time on the Fourth Sunday of Advent at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. After briefly introducing himself, Deacon Scott provided some background on the ministry of service that is the permanent diaconate, before reflecting on the strength and perseverance of the Holy Family.

Deacon Scott posed the question to us: how will we be challenged to leave our place of comfort, and how will we respond when faced with that decision?
