We talked to Helen about the mysterious way she suffered a spinal cord injury they didn't result in any kind of physical injury but instead some kind of illness that caused swelling in her spinal cord, overcoming unexplained injury at only 21 years old, and all of the amazing work she's doing now by helping newly injured people acclimate to an SCI.
