Did you know that Anthony Hopkins wasn't even the first actor to play the famous cannibal? That's because a little movie called Manhunter came out in 1986 which officially kicked off the Hannibal series of films.

Suffice to say the Anthony Hopkins Hannibal movies are the standard today, how will this grandfather of the series stack up? Was it done right the first time, or was Red Dragon totally necessary?
