Episode 2 - 4 Achievable Goals To Accomplish In The Next 6 Months
Welcome to The Songwriter’s Podcast Episode #2
This podcast originally started out as a blog for me. Matter of fact I had originally gotten through the whole thing and was ready to post it!
But it was at this time I had set a goal for myself to start a podcast and I thought “Why not turn this into a podcast instead?”
So here we are!
Setting goals can be a tricky thing as an artist. If they are too “lofty” then we tend to get overwhelmed and lose sight of them. If they are too small they don’t push us forward enough to feel like we’re making progress.
In this podcast I want to outline actual tangible goals that you can implement in a 6 month time frame that will help build your fan base, raise awareness about your music to possible new fans and help you feel fulfilled about your progress. Giving general advice is one thing, but suggesting real action is another. And that’s what I hope to accomplish here.
Here’s what you can expect to learn in this podcast:
1). 4 Real world examples of goals you can accomplish in 6 months that will help you grow your fanbase and awareness online.
2). Why setting goals and telling yourself that you are going to work on them is not enough. You need action.
3). I’ll suggest actual FREE online services you can use to help you achieve these goals so you can get started today at no cost.
4). Why it’s important to have your own email list (newsletter) and how that can help you long term as an artist as social media sites change.
I hope you find this podcast valuable to you and it helps give you some ideas into what you can achieve in the next 6 months for your music career. Building a fan base and creating opportunities for people to find/hear you is challenging these days. There are sooo many great artists out there.
Staying consistent with these real world & achievable goals will give you a good foundation into finding more fans and make you more productive as an artist.
