In this episode we meet  Mildred Carr, known to friends and family alike as Bridget.
A native of Guyana, South America, Bridget arrived on UK shores via ship ,back in 1964, joining her soon to be husband , and  then raising a family - as well as training for a long and respected career. 
Now widowed and living in a retirement home in Buckinghamshire, South East England , Bridget’s life has not been without its challenges.
