Beckie is an RVT, she is the director of the Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts’ Veterinary Medical Technology Program, a consultant to industry startups and nonprofit groups, and the co-host of the weekly podcast “Veterinary Viewfinder” with Dr. Ernie Ward. Additionally, she is the volunteer director of operations 3K9 Working Dogs, and a professional responder with the ASPCA Field Investigations Response Team. Beckie has also served on the state and national veterinary technician boards, as well as the Society for Veterinary Medical Ethics. Beckie also speaks professionally at conferences including VMX, WVC, AVMA and more.
