Omar Mayar is a 26-year-old, Muslim-American of Afghan descent. He grew up in Texas, Pennsylvania, and finally moved to South Carolina where he attended Clemson University. He currently works at Furman University as a software analyst and is pursuing his master's at Georgia Tech. Omar gives us a brief overview of his college experience, as well as much needed advice for young Muslims getting ready to take on college.
