Rayshard Brooks, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery are four of the most recent Black and Brown unarmed individuals to lose their lives in incidents of racial prejudice and/or police brutality.But is the solution to this ongoing problem for Black and Brown people to legally take arms? The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution guarantees us the “right to bear arms”, but what effect would that have on our community?
