Episode TWO of The Whiparound dives headlong into the rising waters of long-overdue cultural outrage thanks to serial assaulter and bathrobe-monster Harvey Weinstein. But we’re not going it alone: the show’s first official guest, blogger and media producer Jill Yapsuga is here to offer her perspective on harassment and the ways females are forced to adapt to unwelcome attention from aggressive males. Jill offers up striking first-hand experiences in what is hopefully the twilight of America’s rape culture. She’s also hilarious, and finds ways to remind us that we’re all very much still in the fight!
BUT FIRST:
We touch base with how our fan base begins to grow and Shaun dreams of throwing his life away in a wild Behind-the-Music-style frenzy, Dave and Phil bare their true emotions about the show’s debut, and Jill gives a brief discourse on mattress beetles. Which are absolutely, positively not bedbugs.
AND LATER…a relaxing, zen-facilitating premier of Dave’s specialty segment: WHAT MADE DAVE ANGRY THIS WEEK! Listen, rapt, as Mr. DiOrio tears into gas stations—sparing neither full-service NOR self-service options in his rampage! He kills a bug, too. Violently. On the air.
