In this episode, Dan talks with Charlie and Megan from The Art of Domes. They have a chat about their passion project - running workshops and spreading the love of Dome Living. They teach workshop participants how to build their own dome structures out of aircrete which is an affordable material that is light enough to move easily, provides incredible insulation properties, and (due to their igloo style) are amazingly strong and completely cyclone proof. Formally a carpenter, Charlie brings a wealth of experience to the project and traveller Megan has absolutely no prior building experience, adding a very important element to the team - aircrete domes are achievable projects for everyone.
