Chris briefly touches on the positives of voter turnout on both sides of the aisle while encouraging respect and civil discourse following the election results.  He also thanks and congratulates his fellow staffers at WSOU for jointly winning the College Broadcasters, Inc. Award for Best Radio Play-by-Play.  Lastly, he goes into the sports news of the week, from the Chicago White Sox's surprising hiring of Tony La Russa to the hits and misses of this year's NFL trade deadline.
