One morning in mid-June 2007, Eduardo and Jayne Valseca were driving home from dropping their children to school in San Miguel de Allende; Central Mexico. 

They were ambushed by masked men. Eduardo was kidnapped and held for ransom. Jayne was left to handle this nightmare whilst trying to raise their 3 children. 

After 7 months Eduardo showed up on their backdoor step.
