In this lesson I will be discussing what I term the “links of the chain”. I use this phrase to reference the concept that whenever you move from one note to another, it is akin to the links in a chain. The chain in this case is the melodic line. You want to be thorough in your practicing, so it's wise to examine every adjacent note in terms of rhythm, articulation, dynamics, and execution. Listen to my podcasts for free, but in order to get the most out of my lessons I suggest downloading my PDF practice sheets and MP3 backing tracks on my Patreon with a $5/month subscription. Your subscription will give YOU the tools needed to become confident as a musician and afford ME the financial resources to create more podcast lessons. Thanks for your support.
