In the second episode of Mindset Lab, Jamison and Dr. Fraser are joined by Dr. Jennifer Walinga. Between 1984 and 1992 Dr. Walinga was a rower on the Canadian Nationa Team where she won a Gold Medal at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, a Bronze at the 1986 World Rowing Championships, and two Gold Medals at the 1991 World Rowing Championships. Following her career, Dr. Walinga entered academia and currently serves as a Professor in the School of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University. Dr. Walinga's current research is focused on making sports less about the need to win and focusing more on learning life skills and experiences that will help people.
