Shrinking the Issues

Episode 2: How to stay sane when quarantined

Listen Later

In Episode 2, the hosts talk about the many ways COVID-19 has impacted individuals, families, and those specifically with mental health struggles. They address the pressures on parents to keep up with their obligations and how to take back control of their homes by being kinder to themselves and more flexible with their children. Missed milestones, missed experiences, and other forms of loss and grief during COVID-19 are explored as are the many ways people are overcoming these difficult moments. Stress eating during COVID-19 is discussed and how we need to be better equipped to deal with the body's common cravings when we are stressed. Through all of this, the hosts bring the focus back to positives that have come out of this COVID-19 era, positives that may be hard to find but that are so very important to share with each other.
