According to Wirecutter, Tortuga produce "The Best Carry On Travel Bag." Now, as Tortuga don't ship to the UK, I became aware of them through Klaviyo which is a tool I've used on client sites to setup and run email marketing automations. In this episode I interview their Director of Marketing, Taylor Coil, who has been with the business for just over 4 years. While I initially set out to learn more about Tortuga's email marketing automations, it quickly became apparent that I was missing a lot of value by looking at email marketing in isolation. With that in mind, Taylor and I got stuck into the details of Tortuga's content marketing as well and I learned about how it ties in with their email marketing and how they aim to meet the customer wherever they are on their journey.
