Episode 2 - Learning to read Symbolically. From Dante and the Old Biblical Stories.
In this episode we'll look at a letter from Dante to Can Grande della Scala, explaining the allegorical dimensions of the Comedy. We will also look at some passages from Purgatory, and the earliest stories of the Old Testament, to see what a symbolic interpretation might show us.
Opening the symbolic deep of stories and poetry is in general an immense treasure trove of deep insights and beauty - and this habit can (and have to) be gradually trained and built up! It's a great gift for the brain too :))
