Episode 2: "Letting Our Country's Music Blossom" by Anna Chaban and Lyudmyla Krasnyuk Sakalosh
Welcome to the second episode of our podcast! For this episode, we will be sharing a dubbed interview that I had with my piano teacher, Ludmila Krasnyuk, over the winter holidays using the interview questions linked in the episode description below. During our interview, we discussed her family’s tragic history that had occurred because of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, her studies at the Lviv Conservatory of Music, her favorite pieces of Ukrainian music, and her hopes for Ukraine’s growth after its victory. Since the interview was originally recorded in Ukrainian, the English dub voice for Ludmila Krasnyuk’s voice was provided by Maria Christina Kardash, the president of the Ukrainian Club at Gettysburg University.
