The Lilabean Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on raising funds for research that will advance treatments to create better outcomes for children diagnosed with brain cancer. The end goal of the Foundation is to help fund a cure for pediatric cancer. On this podcast we will hear from pediatric oncology doctors, the founder of the foundation, The Children's Brain Tumor Network, and parents who have experienced the heartbreak of hearing the words - “your child has cancer”. We’re doing this show to help tell our story and advance our mission. We’ll do that today with our guest - Nicole Giroux, the Founder and Executive Director of the Lilabean Foundation.
