Hello and welcome to The Movie Plaza, a weekly entertainment podcast where I, Alysha Plaza watch, analyze, and rank the IMDB Top 100 Movies Watchlist in an approachable way that is aimed at those with a more general sense of film analysis.

For this week’s episode we will start with an overview of the film before a breakdown of events. After that we will talk a bit about lighting and what it reveals about the characters as well as go over some historical context during which I conducted a short interview with Maple Brulia, and Undergrad student at Millersville University majoring in history and minoring in women and gender studies. Then, we’ll move on to The Plaza Pops ranking portion where I give the film a 1-10 score based on the plot, cinematography, characters and entertainment value/overall watchability. Finally we’ll close out by giving it a new ranking on our Top 100 list and with a preview of next weeks movie.
