Each week Pastor Byrnese (she/her) and Pastor Mikayla (she/her) will chat about what scripture(s) they are preaching on that week, as well as what in life is keeping them from writing their sermons in a timely fashion.

This week we discuss preaching both the gospel and second reading texts listed for the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost in Cycle B from the Revised Common Lectionary⁠. You'll hear the gospel text read in today's episode from The Common English Bible and parts of the second reading from the New Living Translation.
