SaaS verticals are prevalent in virtually all disciplines (accounting, HR, finance, Cybersecurity, marketing, etc) and all sectors (banking, insurance, construction, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education). Yet, many companies continue to be tied to legacy ERP systems and yet readily reject new SaaS as being too expensive, not compatible or not secure. In turn, frontline staff not using or becoming familiar with such SaaS will diminish their value and competitive edge over the next 18 months to 5 years. Essentially reviewing their “CV” will be a bigger challenge as tech passes them by. So whether or not your company adopts such tech, individuals can not afford to ignore it.
