The USC Sports Sorority podcast continues with another full-length episode – this time, one revolving around social media, a subsector unlike most others within the broader sports industry since a higher percentage of positions are held by women. This episode begins with all four featured interviewees sharing how passions for sports journalism early in college led to them pursuing careers in social media. It also describes the network of support that has been created by women working in sports social media before wrapping up with a brief epilogue on how some interviewees have transitioned into careers outside of the sports world.
