In the past, the participation of women in the STEM field has been minimal at best. Even until today, in Indonesia, only 1 out 3 STEM workers are women (BPS Indonesia, 2020). The STEM field is often perceived as a field that is designed not for women. The good news is, in recent years, more and more women are joining the field be it as scientists or leaders in the field.
