Welcome to our second episode of the Horizon DeFi Podcast, where we explore DeFi, synthetic assets, and the potential impact they will have on our economy.
For this episode, our host, Stanton, with the help of Jay, will be briefly exploring and comparing Horizon Protocol with Synthetix, the project that Horizon Protocol was originally forked from.
We will explore the reasons for why Horizon Protocol chose to fork Synthetix, the differences between the two projects, how Synthetix has been making the news recently in regards to their trading fee revenues and how Horizon Protocol might be able to replicate it, and finally, the differences between being on the Ethereum ecosystem versus being on the BNB Chain ecosystem.
The goal of this episode is to be transparent and really share some of the thinking behind the direction that Horizon Protocol is taking. If you have any feedback, thoughts, or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at via [email protected].
