One of the greatest seasons by one of the unlikeliest teams ever. Tom tells Josh about the Miracle Mets, how they came about due to the westward (??) expansion of baseball, how they built a roster in an era when expansion teams were squeezed (including the origin of the band name "Yo La Tengo"), and the details of their unexpected run to a championship.
