The "24 Hour Rule" is a method to moving forward. I’ve always practiced this method in school, work, training and competition. I give myself 24 hours to celebrate my victories or think about what didn’t go my way (loses, challenges or bad situations). After 24 hours, I move on and adopt a problem solving attitude.
