Are you in a season of trial? Is life not turning out the way that you thought? In part 2 of The Heart of a Shepherd, Dot teaches us out of Psalm 23:4-5. As she walks us through the valley of shadow of death, she reminds us that we are not alone, God is with us. In this heartfelt episode, Dot shares her personal experience of her own valleys and leads us to the truth of how to face our dark moments: “We cannot enjoy the mountaintop experiences with God until we are willing to walk with God through the valley of shadow of death, but we can look back on the journey and realize there was never a day that you were not guided and lead by a Great, Mighty Shepherd.”

What thoughts are shaking your faith, keeping you from trusting God or knowing the truth of God?
Go back over Psalm 23:4-5 and ask God, do I think and believe you are with me during this time, during this valley?
Do I trust you, God?
Do I fear that evil is going to win? Or do I know that you, God, have overcome evil?
Be honest before God, tell Him what you want. Pray and seek God and tell Him all that is in your heart.
