In this episode, we shift our focus to the national context of FATF’s Recommendation 8. We explore how various countries have implemented this standard, often leading to overregulation and unintended consequences for nonprofits. We also examine FATF’s response and discuss how risk assessments and mutual evaluations can be leveraged to better support nonprofit organizations.
