Nick's head injury affected his sequencing, short term memory, filters and his ability to do reading comprehension.

From public schools, private schools and home schooling they struggled to get a fair education for Nick.

Nick was in middle school at the time. He struggle with OCD, ODD and severe juvenile Bipolar Disorder. He suffered from ticks both external and vocal.

His medication was so severe they basically took him out of normal life. They couldn't get him up to go to school and then when they did he wouldn't stay a wake when he got there. The teachers and faculty couldn't deal when him or he would go to the school nurse with a head ache.

The failure of the education system. The system is set up based on reading comprehension and visual only and not set up for the physical needs of those who need to hear it and do it to succeed.

Nick had to endure the system and learn on his own using You Tube and other web based systems to accomplish his goals.
