Sarah Winchester was a widow to one of the men who helped create the Winchester Rifle Company. Her husband left her a large fortune and she listened to a medium to speak to her husband for her so he could tell her how to spend the money and what to do with her life. She built the Winchester Mystery House so that spirits who lost their lives due to the Winchester Rifles could have a place to "stay." Was she crazy? Why is the house built so weird? Why are there stairs and doors to nowhere?
