When you think of Brazil, does your mind go to Rio, Copacabana, Brazilian BBQ, Beaches, and Carnaval?  If so, you may enjoy accompanying me beyond those places, to this Shangri-La interior.  Chapada Diamantina —the site of abandoned diamond mines embedded in natural splendor.   Epic bus rides, beautiful waterfalls, strange encounters, and of course, my observations of the whole process make for a challenging and exciting experience!
