Judgement free zone! This week’s episode with my guest host (and cousin), Kayley, we talk about how our parents did things back in the day, sleep training, and baby led weaning. We learned that things can be done differently and not BY THE FUCKING BOOK (as long what you are doing is safe, lol have to add that in there). Especially with social media, there is such a strong presences on how to do things a certain way. In reality, it’s NOT like that and you gotta do what you can to survive. We should embrace that everyone does parenting differently. Take a listen!
*UPDATE on episode 1 description* I have to correct my wording for episode 1's description. I stated that postpartum depression is normal. I picked the wrong choice of wording and my intention was to state that it is common (and not normal - baby blues is normal postpartum). I want to normalize the awareness of talking about struggles and challenges of parenthood. It’s okay that to have struggles and challenges and I made this podcast to normalize this. But please know that anything more than ‘baby blues’, thoughts of harm or suicide, please reach out for help. PPD is not normal (although common) so it is important to reach out.
