  1. Definition of Stability: The abilityof a vessel to return to its original position after being inclined by an outside fiorce.
  2. Measurment Thresholds: I
    1. Initial Stability is measured by GM for Small Angles up to 8 degrees.
    2. Greater than 8 degrees Large Angle Stability is measured with GZ or Righting Moment.
  3. Mathmatical Derivation: GM = KM - KG
  4. States of Stability: Positive, Neutral and Negative
  5. Negative GM and Angle of Loll
