When I was told I would interview a London rapper for the podcast, I didn’t expect to learn as much as I did. In this episode, I will share some of the things rapper Awate and I spoke about including Awate’s own story of being an immigrant from Saudi Arabia and how police brutality almost destroyed all the music venues in his community and around London.
