Welcome back to Presenting... Genesis where I present myself to you all and come out of my "whale mode" (see the previous episode if you're confused). When I first moved to Durham, over a year ago, I immediately got a library card. I was in the adult non-fiction section and I came across this book about how to make adult friendships. I checked out the book, but I never read it. I thought I had made all the friendships that were really meaningful to me already. 1. arrogant much... 2. heavy, heavy dissociation. Upon further reflection, I should have read that book because boy was I wrong. Socializing is an art, an art I am very much a novice in. So, as always, sit back, relax, and listen to a beginner trying.
