Laura and her family are taking the day off, so she shares the story of another time in her life when she had to shelter in place, though under very different circumstances. Inspired by Homer's Odyssey, she tells her own odyssey of being stuck in Mexico during Hurricane Odile back in 2014, when the storm destroyed Cabo. The story was published by Hobart in 2015.
