Episode 20 of the Just God Pod featured Cole Garrett. I only met Cole once in person through mutual friends, but after getting to know him better and spend time in fellowship with him, he is someone I want to have a lasting friendship with. He is a genuine, down to earth, God fearing follower of Christ.

Cole played college baseball at Virginia Military Institute which we dove deeper into throughout the episode. What I enjoyed about this conversation was how well he was able to truly articulate the relationship aspect of becoming a Believer. He is in oneness with Christ that’s for sure. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Cole further down the road and using him as a resource for my own walk!

His verse of the week came from Isaiah 53:5 which says “But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.”

Jesus took the sin, the pain, the weight of the world, and nailed it to the Cross. We are undeserving of His grace and mercy, yet He would do it over again for us.

Thank you God, for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the Cross for me.
