There Can Be Only One

Episode 20: "No Escape"

[Explicit language]

Two movies titled No Escape enter, only one will leave (with its title) as Herman Davis and Robert Rau watch Owen Wilson throw a child and Ray Liotta play a poor man’s Bruce Willis to determine which one deserves to be called No Escape.
The 2015 thriller has just been released on DVD, and seemed like a perfect candidate to go up against a cable classic. Based on the previews of a family unwittingly moving to a coup-riddled country, Herman and Robert didn’t think this No Escape stood a chance, but turned out to be a decent movie.
The second movie is one Robert is very familiar with, focusing on the near future of 2022 and a peninsula used to throw away unwanted prisoners. Despite having a Bond-esque villain and a death row little person, Herman did find this movie a bit long. Will this be enough to change the title of the 1994 movie, or will the newer version have to update its poster? Listen if you dare.
