Ok so this may be as rant-y as they come, but I like to think about it as being "passionate". I talk about the idea that our true journey isn't so much about being recovered, as it is about being fully human. Our struggles are unique in some ways, but overall our struggles as alcoholics and addicts are those of human beings everywhere else.
