In this episode of Limitless_Ivan, Ivan Sharma talks with Mark Mastalski about his journey of welcoming the opportunity for new experiences and being open-minded.
Mark Mastalski has spent more than two decades in higher education, and is currently the director of the Leadership Center at Fort Lewis College in beautiful Durango, Colorado. He is the youngest of three and grew up in a small town called Minocqua in northern Wisconsin. Prior to his current role, Mark worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he started as an assistant director in career services before becoming the director of the Engineering Leadership Center. Mark's academic background is in mechanical engineering and technical communications and he worked for Eaton Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, coming out of college. He and his wife enjoy exploring the amazing San Juan Mountains in Colorado where they hike, nordic ski, snowshoe, and other recreational activities. Mark also serves on the board of directors of Shanta Foundation and has been a co-lead facilitator for LeaderShape, a non-profit organization focused on "transforming the world by increasing the number of people who lead with integrity, and a healthy disregard for the impossible.”
