We have fun updating on Gwen’s experiment with intermittent fasting and Liz’s experiment with being a “mindful groundhog”. Interesting how these things actually go together . . . each is really about finding more time by ridding ourselves of mindless distractions so that we have more time to be our individual CEO’s of ourselves. Have you ever thought about that? You are your CEO - no one else is. How would you rate yourself as the CEO of yourself? Do you spend sufficient time thinking ahead, planning, creating, and delegating? Do you have a slower peaceful pace about you that exudes confidence? Does your pace communicate safety and security to others around you? OR - do you spin at a high pace like all of the other little gears around you? Do you let the little gears around you dictate your “Big Gear” pace? What works best for you? If you aren’t sure, think about how a well-oiled machine works . . . think about the other gears, pulleys and levers . . . consider that you are and can give yourself permission to be the CEO of your “Big Gear”. You set your gear size, pace and direction - if you choose to . . .
