Episode 20: SCOTUS v. Democracy

Listen Later

The United States Supreme Court just concluded its latest term, and it was a doozy. Although a decision giving the president broad immunity from criminal prosecution took the spotlight, other decisions from the conservative majority sent shockwaves through the legal community, including stripping power from federal agencies and giving that power to the courts. The gang breaks down how the Supreme Court has gone from nearly 250 years of stabilizing the country to devolving into another tool for a political faction marred by corruption and starving for more power.
