Statements:
1. It is said that the black rooster was starved and kept in a dark room for multiple days to make it crow earlier.
2. It is now effectively compulsory to display the rooster on a bottle of wine, if it is to be called Chianti Classico.
3. Producers from a village in Burgundy, France, sued in 2013 to prevent the trademark from being enforced.
