The word "emotion" comes from the Middle French word émouvoir, meaning "a (social) moving, stirring, agitation. We all have emotions; we are born with them.  However, if we fail to gain control of them as we grow, they can literally MOVE or set our destruction in MOTION. Think back on the times you've made decisions when you were emotional. Most of the time, you lost all sense of reason and logic, because your emotions stayed true to their orginal definition. They moved through your mind, and stirred up and agitated all that they came in contact with. It's like shaking up a Coke and opening it and seeing the contents spew out all over the place -vs- opening when its settled inside and enjoying it. That's EXACTLY what happens when we make emotionally charged decisions.. All over the place on the inside becomes all over the place on the outside.. We say things we shouldn't, we do things we shouldn't and then we have to deal with the side effects of it.. Stuff gets ruined and we have to try to clean it up..
