Many of us dream of playing a sport of our choosing at the elite level when we are young children. A small percentage achieve that dream a much greater percentage realise at, also a very young age that the dream is a bridge to far. But what of those who pursue the dream further, who play their chosen sport at the very highest of levels without reaching the elite level of which they had dreamed of, worked for through their teens and into their mid twenties. Join Ledge and Ben as guest Tim Higgins gives a very honest self appraisal of his pursuit of a dream. Tim comes across with a warmth and humility that many of his opposing players would doubt existed(and probably some of his team mates)as they may have misread his pursuit of excellence as something else in his personality. What do you do when as a 26 year old you are told "your too old" and you have planned most of your teen and adult life around the dream? Then again has Tim missed out on the holy grail? Or was he just mistaken on what his utopia was? As he now enjoys playing with his mates, imparting his learnings onto them through coaching and the fulfilment of fatherhood. Enjoy a conversation that never strays too far from football though does get far enough away to mention Ben's latest manscaping efforts. If you enjoy be sure to rate with 5 stars, share with your friends, subscribe if you wish and follow us on instagram at "freshfromtheesky"
