EPISODE 20: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TONE!
In this episode, Frankie talks to her Producer Rachel Giordano all about tone. It is something that has plagued both of them as they are loud outspoken women and sometimes their tone is perceived a certain way. They get down to the bottom of where our tone comes from AND explain how to be more aware in the future so you can change how you react in a situation. Rachel has followed Frankie’s advice about tone to make a shift in her marriage. The advice is in Frankie’s book “The Man, He’s Stupid, And The Girl, She’s So Bitch” where she explains holding back the tone when you are tired, frustrated or angry because the other person will be taken aback and eventually tired of feeling you always have a tone that makes them feel less than. Frankie says the important thing is if you catch the tone and acknowledge it. She admits she yelled at her son just that morning because she was frustrated but eventually caught herself and acknowledged it with him. “Get in touch with YOU” Frankie exclaims, and find peace even in the chaos.
