In this episode of The Already Collective Podcast, host Taylor Carlier sits down with Dwan Hill for a rich and honest conversation about the intersection of faith, ministry, and personal formation. Together, they explore how identity is shaped over time, what it means to walk in your God-given purpose, and how spiritual gifts are often refined through seasons of both visibility and hiddenness.
Dwan shares his journey from growing up as a “church kid” to becoming a worship pastor, and how God faithfully used every chapter—both on and off the stage—to prepare him for a life of impact in the Kingdom. With humility and depth, he reflects on the tension between calling and career, the importance of character in leadership, and the ongoing process of becoming who God has already declared you to be.
This episode offers a powerful reminder that God wastes nothing—every step, every season, and every surrender plays a part in shaping the story He’s writing through our lives – a story that unlocks compassionate purpose for the sake of others.
