Today's guest is Dayna Yurkovich. She is an event planner who specializes in wedding shows. One of the rites of passage for any newly engaged couple is the wedding show. You will see billboards all around town, usually in the early parts of the year, inviting brides, grooms, mothers of the bride, and bridal parties to the show. They are usually big and lots of fun. And they can also be a little overwhelming. There are always exciting times for Brides, and sometimes the groom might wonder what exactly he signed up for.
Dayna coordinates the wedding show closest to us. I live near Canton, Ohio, and her show is the Belden Village Bridal Show and has been held in Canton every year for the past 25 years. So, if you are in the Canton/ Akron area, you definitely need to make plans to attend. If you are listening anywhere else in the country, I am sure a bridal show is coming up at a mall near you. Regardless of where you are, Dayna will share a little bit about why going to these shows is a good thing, how to get the best from them, etc.
