Doctors and popular culture tell us to relieve stress through meditation, and it often comes with the trappings of New Age spirituality and Eastern mysticism ("empty the mind"). 😫

As followers of Jesus Christ, we want to FILL our minds with the Word of God and thus follow the Holy Spirit's directive in Romans 12:2, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
